The idea
This is the most assertive style in the app. It spends little time on discovery and a lot of time on the ask. The skill it builds is composure: many sellers fold at the first objection, and this style trains you to stay steady and ask again.
What it trains: Staying in the call after a no, and asking again without flinching.
How it works
Short, declarative lines
Certainty sounds like short sentences said once. Long explanations sound like doubt.
An objection means they are still talking
Treat pushback as a sign of interest and move to the next ask, not as a reason to retreat.
No soft exits
Selly never coaches a callback, a follow-up or “I’ll send you some information”.
Nothing invented
Pressure comes from certainty, never from made-up facts, deadlines or guarantees.
When it fits
Good for
- Sellers who give up after the first no
- Short, transactional offers
- Rehearsing composure under pushback
Less suited to
- Buyers who need time to understand the problem
- Relationships you expect to last for years
How Selly coaches it
Selly pushes you towards the ask rather than more discovery. When an objection lands, the hint is the next ask, delivered calmly, not a retreat.
The buyer you practise against
An owner who has barely thought about whether their set-up costs them anything, and considers that their own business. They will push back hard, because that is the point of the drill.
In every style, Selly marks down anything invented to win a point, and a clear refusal ends the call.
